Starkwood Farm is a small breeder of quality New Forest ponies. We are committed to preserving the integrity of the English bloodlines in the US by infusing the best of English, Dutch and Danish lines. Our goal is simple: to produce and promote purebred sport ponies of exceptional talent and temperament. All of our ponies are fully registered and passported with the mother studbook in England.

NEWS FLASH: New Forest ponies champion at the 2007 Pony Finals! In an unprecedented feat, two imported New Forest pony geldings took top honors in BOTH the hunter and jumper divisions...

Enchanted Forest, a Dutch New Forest gelding (Sulaatik's Fireball X Muleander) was the Medium and Grand Pony Hunter Champion at the 2007 Wildhorsefeathers/USEF Pony HUNTER Finals, and Magic BB, another Dutch New Forest gelding (Igor), was the 2007 Adequan/USEF National Pony JUMPER Individual Champion. Congrats to the outstanding young riders and teams of these exceptional ponies!

There may not be many New Forests out there, but the ones that are, are certainly at the top of their game...what tremendous ambassadors to this relatively under-recognized breed!
